Apple has released an emergency security update to address a critical zero-click vulnerability, identified as CVE-2025-43300, within its Image I/O framework. The flaw, which processes image files across devices, could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code without user interaction, posing a significant risk to iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.

The company confirmed awareness of potential exploitation in highly targeted attacks. Updates include iOS 18.6.2, iPadOS 18.6.2, and patches for macOS Sequoia 15.6.1, Sonoma 14.7.8, and Ventura 13.7.8. Users are urged to install the update manually to mitigate risks.

Cybersecurity experts highlight the heightened danger for cryptocurrency holders. Unlike traditional finance, crypto transactions are irreversible, making wallet applications and exchange platforms prime targets for exploitation.
